King of the Ring 2001 was the ninth annual King of the Ring pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). It was the final King of the Ring tournament held under the WWF name. It took place on June 24, 2001 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
