Sloan made his debut in the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) in 1964. Sloan's gimmick was a tough guy from Montana. He feuded with Bruno Sammartino and Arnold Skaaland. In 1966, Sloan teamed up with Baron Mikel Scicluna to win the WWWF United States Tag Team Titles, winning over Tony Parisi and Johnny Valentine, when Valentine turned on his own partner. Valentine caused Parisi to fall out of the ring over the rop ropes; and then threw the belts to Scicluna and Sloan. Scicluna and Sloan ultimately lost the belts to Parisi and Spiros Arion. By 1968, Sloan left the WWWF.
In 1972, he returned to the WWWF, this time with no success and not for long. He did have one feature match, being pinned by Bruno Sammartino.
Sloan passed away in January 2001.
