On January 29, 2020, WWE announced the signings of Shanky. At Superstar Spectacle on January 22, 2021, Shanky, under the moniker Dilsher Shanky, teamed with Giant Zanjeer, Rey Mysterio, and Ricochet to defeat Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, King Corbin, and Shinsuke Nakamura in an eight-man tag team match. On the May 10 episode of Raw, Shanky, along with Veer, would align themselves with Jinder Mahal. As part of the 2021 Draft, both Shanky and Mahal were drafted to the SmackDown brand while Veer remained on the Raw brand, ending their alliance with Veer.
On the March 18, 2022 episode of SmackDown, Shanky worked as a replacement to Madcap Moss in a six-man tag team match, teaming up with Happy Corbin and Jinder Mahal against the team of Drew McIntyre and the Viking Raiders, the latter of whom would win the match. On the April 1 episode of SmackDown, Shanky participated in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. On the April 29 episode of SmackDown, Shanky faced Ricochet for the Intercontinental Championship in a losing effort due to a miscommunication between Shanky and Jinder Mahal. After the match, Shanky would leave Mahal to himself, teasing dissension between the two. On the May 27 episode of SmackDown, Shanky and Mahal were announced to face Los Lotharios (Angel and Humberto). Before the match, as Mahal's entrance music played, Mahal was found searching for Shanky backstage; he would find Shanky dancing in a locker room. After losing to the Lotharios, Shanky continued dancing with ring announcer Samantha Irvin, much to Mahal's dismay. On the June 24 episode of SmackDown, The New Day challenged Shanky and Mahal to a "dance off", leading Mahal to once again turn his back on Shanky, and instead leaving him to dance with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods before they were all attacked by the returning Viking Raiders.
At the 2023 Superstar Spectacle live event on September 8, Shanky returned to the ring for the first time in over fourteen months, where he unsuccessfully challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. On September 21, Shanky was released from his WWE contract.
