On January 16, 2018, WWE announced on their website that Ricochet had signed a contract with the company and would be reporting to the WWE Performance Center. On January 27 at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia, Ricochet, billed as his real name, was shown sitting in the audience. Ricochet made his NXT debut at a taping in Atlanta, Georgia, beating Fabian Aichner. Ricochet competed in a six-man ladder match for the brand new NXT North American Championship at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, which was eventually won by Adam Cole. On the May 9 episode of NXT, Ricochet made his intentions clear to pursuing the NXT Championship, but found himself challenged by the Velveteen Dream. They proceeded to have a match later in the show, but it was ruled a no contest when both men were attacked by Lars Sullivan. At NXT TakeOver: Chicago II, Ricochet defeated Velveteen Dream. Ricochet then feuded with Adam Cole and The Undisputed Era, over Cole's NXT North American Championship. At NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, Ricochet defeated Cole for the title, his first championship with WWE. At NXT TakeOver: WarGames, Ricochet, along with the team of Pete Dunne and the War Raiders, defeated the Undisputed Era in WarGames. Ricochet successfully defended his North American title against Tyler Breeze on NXT 12 December 2018. At NXT TakeOver: Phoenix, Ricochet lost the NXT North American Championship to Johnny Gargano, ending his reign at 161 days.
On the February 18, 2019 episode of Raw, Ricochet made his main roster debut, teamed with Intercontinental Champion Finn Bálor to defeat Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush. On the following night, Ricochet also appeared at SmackDown, defeating Eric Young. Over the next few weeks, Ricochet formed a tag team with Aleister Black and won the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic on NXT, while receiving a Raw Tag Team Championship match at Fastlane that featured The Revival and Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, but failed to win. The team of Ricochet and Black also competed for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in a fatal four-way match at WrestleMania 35, but were unsuccessful.
On April 15, Ricochet was drafted to Raw as part of the Superstar Shake-up, separating him from Aleister Black, who was drafted to SmackDown. On the April 22 episode of Raw, Ricochet suffered his first pinfall loss on the main roster, when he was defeated by Robert Roode. On the April 29 episode of Raw, Ricochet was announced as one of the competitors in the Money in the Bank ladder match, which he failed to win. On the June 17 episode of Raw, Ricochet won a fatal five-way elimination match to become the number one contender for the United States Championship. At Stomping Grounds, Ricochet defeated Samoa Joe to win the United States Championship. On July 1st edition of Raw, Ricochet successfully defended his title against AJ Styles but after the match was assaulted by Styles and his partners Gallows and Anderson. Ricochet lost the title to Styles at Extreme Rules ending his reign at 21 days. Ricochet failed to regain the title from Styles at SummerSlam. After his feud with Styles, Ricochet competed in the 2019 King of the Ring tournament, but was defeated by Baron Corbin in the semi-finals. At Crown Jewel on October 31, Ricochet made up part of Hulk Hogan's team (alongside Roman Reigns, Rusev, Shorty G and Ali) as they defeated Ric Flair's team (Randy Orton, King Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre). At Survivor Series on November 24, Ricochet was included as part of Team Raw, where they lost to Team SmackDown in a 5-on 5-on 5 tag team elimination match also involving Team NXT. On January 26, 2020, at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Ricochet participated in the Royal Rumble match, but was eliminated by the eventual winner Drew McIntyre. On the February 3 episode of Raw, Ricochet defeated Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match to earn a WWE Championship opportunity against Brock Lesnar at Super ShowDown. At the event, Ricochet lost to Lesnar in under two minutes. Afterwards, Ricochet would form a tag team with Cedric Alexander on the April 6, 2020 episode of Raw, as they defeated Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. In the following weeks, Ricochet and Alexander would begin feuding with The Hurt Business (MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) after they injured Apollo Crews. However, on the September 7 episode of Raw, Alexander turned on Ricochet and Crews during a six-man tag team match against The Hurt Business, attacking them and joining The Hurt Business, thus disbanding the team. The following week on Raw, Ricochet was defeated by Alexander. On the October 12 Raw, the feud would end when he defeated Alexander by disqualification after he threw a chair to Alexander and lying down. Shortly after, Ricochet would be targeted by Mustafa Ali and Retribution, beginning a feud with them. Over the next few weeks, Ricochet would lose to each member in singles competition. At the 2021 Royal Rumble, Ricochet participated in his second Royal Rumble match, lasting over eleven minutes before being eliminated by the returning Kane. On the Elimination Chamber kickoff show, Ricochet participated in a fatal four-way match which involved Elias, Mustafa Ali, and John Morrison to determine who would fill in Keith Lee’s vacant spot at the event for the United States Championship triple threat match, which was won by Morrison. On the March 29 episode of Raw, Ricochet faced Drew McIntyre in a match, but was defeated. On the WrestleMania Backlash kickoff show, Ricochet accepted Sheamus' open challenge for the United States Championship, but was defeated. On the June 7, 2021 episode of Raw, Ricochet fought Humberto Carrillo in a singles match to declare the number one contender for the United States Championship, which ended in a double countout. On the June 21 episode of Raw, Ricochet defeated AJ Styles to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match at Money in the Bank, which he would go on to lose.
On the October 4 episode of Raw, Ricochet was moved to the SmackDown brand as apart of the 2021 WWE Draft. In October, Ricochet entered the King of the Ring tournament, where he lost to Xavier Woods in the first round. On the Day 1 kickoff on January 1, 2022, Ricochet teamed with Cesaro to face Sheamus and Ridge Holland in a losing effort. On January 29, at the Royal Rumble, Ricochet competed in his third Rumble match, where he helped eliminate Omos along with other competitors before being eliminated by Happy Corbin.
On the March 4 episode of SmackDown, Ricochet defeated Sami Zayn with help from Johnny Knoxville to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his WWE career. He would then successfully defend the championship against Zayn on the March 11 episode of SmackDown in a rematch. On the March 25 edition of SmackDown, Ricochet would lose to Angel and Humberto in two separate matches, due to interference from both men. This would later lead to a triple threat match for the championship at WrestleMania SmackDown, where Ricochet would win. On the April 15 edition of SmackDown, he would successfully defend the championship against Jinder Mahal. On the June 10 edition of SmackDown, he lost the Intercontinental Championship to Gunther, ending his reign at 98 days.
On the August 30 edition of NXT 2.0, Ricochet returned to the brand to confront NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes. A title match was subsequently scheduled between the two for Worlds Collide, which Hayes would win. On December 2, Ricochet won the SmackDown World Cup, earning him an Intercontinental Championship opportunity against Gunther. On December 16, Ricochet faced Gunther in a rematch for the title in a losing effort. As part of the 2023 WWE Draft, Ricochet was drafted to Raw. On the May 29 episode of Raw, Ricochet defeated The Miz to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match. At the event, he lost to eventual winner Damian Priest after Ricochet performed a springboard Spanish Fly on Logan Paul through two tables outside the ring, taking both out for the remainder of the match. At SummerSlam, Ricochet lost a singles match to Paul after Paul hit him with brass knuckles when the referee's back was turned. Ricochet entered the 2024 Royal Rumble at number twenty-eight, but was eliminated by Drew McIntyre. On the March 11 episode of Raw, he competed in a six-man gauntlet match for a chance to fight at WrestleMania XL for the Intercontinental Championship; he would outlast JD McDonagh but was eliminated by Bronson Reed. On the April 3 premiere episode of WWE Speed, Ricochet defeated Latino World Order's Dragon Lee in the quarterfinals of the tournament to crown the inaugural WWE Speed Champion before defeating JD McDonagh in the semifinals a few weeks later. On May 3, Ricochet won the tournament to become the inaugural WWE Speed Champion by defeated Johnny Gargano. On the June 14 episode of Speed, Ricochet lost the title to Andrade, ending his reign at 42 days.
On the June 10 episode of Raw, Ricochet assisted Ilja Dragunov in fighting off Bron Breakker after their match. Later in the night, Ricochet was attacked by Breakker in the parking lot and was stretchered off in an ambulance following a powerslam by Breakker onto the windshield of a car. On June 29, Ricochet's profile on WWE's website was moved to the alumni section. The next day, it was reported that his contract had expired, ending his six-year tenure with the promotion.
