Crusifino would make his WWE debut on the March 3, 2023 episode of NXT Level Up with the gimmick of a lawyer, losing to Dante Chen. On December 12, Crusifino was announced as one of the competitors for the NXT men's Breakout Tournament. On the December 16 episode of NXT, Crusifino would be defeated by Tavion Heights in the first round of the tournament. On February 1, 2024, Crusifino would make his WWE Main Event debut, losing to Julius Creed. On February 27, Crusifino faced Dijak in a losing effort. After the match, Crusifino would hit Dijak with his own crowbar, setting up Joe Gacy to attack him, turning face in the process for the first time in his WWE career. Crusifino would then slip Dijak's crowbar behind the steel steps. Impressed by Crusifino’s match, Tony D’Angelo would tell Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo to recruit Crusifino. At NXT Roadblock on March 5, D'Angelo welcomed Crusifino as the new "consigliere" of The D'Angelo Family stable, thus cementing his face turn. The Family and No Quarter Catch Crew faced off in a six-man tag team match during week one of Spring Breakin', which was won by The D'Angelo Family.
