On November 5, 2019, it was reported that Hartwell signed a WWE contract. On November 7, 2019, she made her debut at an NXT live event. On the January 15, 2020 episode of NXT, she made her NXT televised debut by participating in the number one contender battle royal for the NXT Women's Championship, in which she lost. She would make an appearance on the April 20 episode of Raw in a loss by referee decision against Shayna Baszler after Baszler injured her arm. Following the match, Baszler sandwiched her arm in a ladder.

On the July 15 episode of NXT, Hartwell picked up her first televised win against Shotzi Blackheart. On the October 7 episode of NXT, a storyline began where Hartwell gave a brand new television to the Garganos with a USB in the package, when she was seen assisting Candice LeRae in the number one contender battle royal for the NXT Women's Championship at NXT TakeOver: 31 on September 23. At NXT Halloween Havoc, a masked figure wearing a Ghostface costume was seen assisting LeRae during her NXT Women's Championship match against Io Shirai, but was fended off by the host of the event, Shotzi Blackheart. On the November 11 episode of NXT, it was revealed that Hartwell was the masked figure, aligning with LeRae in the process. On the December 9 episode of NXT, Johnny Gargano revealed that he had formed a faction with Candice LeRae, Austin Theory and Hartwell called The Way.

On the January 22, 2021 episode of 205 Live, Hartwell and LeRae defeated the team of Cora Jade and Gigi Dolin in the quarterfinals of the women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament, which marked the first time that a women's match has ever taken place in the history of 205 Live brand. On the February 10 episode of NXT, they were eliminated by Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart in the semi-finals of the tournament. On April 8, at NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver, Hartwell and LeRae challenged Moon and Blackheart for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship in a losing effort. On April 27 episode of NXT, Hartwell and LeRae attacked Blackheart and Moon; setting the stage for a future street fight match for the titles. On the next episode of NXT, they defeated the champions to win the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships, marking Hartwell's first championship in her WWE career. At The Great American Bash, the team of Io Shirai and Zoey Stark defeated Hartwell and LeRae, ending their reign at 63 days.

After months of promos with her onscreen boyfriend Dexter Lumis, Hartwell proposed to him on the August 17 episode of NXT. On the debut episode of NXT 2.0, where the brand announced "new beginnings", she was the bride in a wedding where she married Lumis. At Halloween Havoc, Hartwell teamed with Persia Pirotta in a triple threat "Scareway to Hell" ladder match against Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) and the team of Shirai and Stark for NXT Women's Tag Team Championships in a losing effort. She made an appearance on the November 12 episode of 205 Live, defeating Valentina Feroz. In the following weeks, Hartwell and Pirotta began a feud with Toxic Attraction, which resulted in a match for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships at Vengeance Day 2022, where they were unsuccessful in winning the match. They then entered women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, losing in the first round to the team of Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo.

On the July 19 episode of NXT, Hartwell competed in a twenty-woman battle royal to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women's Championship, eliminating Arianna Grace but being eliminated herself by Tiffany Stratton. After losing to Blair Davenport on August 23 episode of NXT, Hartwell was reunited with Dexter Lumis and given an "I love you" letter before Lumis was taken by police. On the December 6 episode of NXT, Hartwell defeated Fallon Henley and Wendy Choo in a triple threat match, earning a spot in the women's Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline. Four days later, at the event, Hartwell garnered a point over eventual winner Roxanne Perez. At New Year's Evil on January 10, 2023, Hartwell competed in a 20-woman battle royal to determine the number one contender to Perez's NXT Women's Championship, eliminating Lash Legend but was eliminated by eventual winners Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne).

On January 28, 2023, Hartwell made her first main roster appearance by appearing at the Royal Rumble in the women's Royal Rumble match, entering at number twenty-six and being eliminated by Sonya Deville. On the March 21 episode of NXT, Hartwell lost to Tiffany Stratton in a qualifying match for the NXT Women's Championship. However, the following week on NXT, Hartwell qualified for the match by defeating Ivy Nile and Sol Ruca in a Last Chance match. At Stand and Deliver on April 1, Hartwell won the NXT Women's Championship in a six-woman ladder match. At Spring Breakin' on April 25, Hartwell retained the title against Stratton and Roxanne Perez in a triple threat match.

As part of the 2023 WWE Draft, Hartwell was drafted to the Raw brand, while still holding the NXT Women's Championship. As a result, on the May 2 episode of NXT, Hartwell relinquished the NXT Women's Championship; this ended her reign at only 31 days, making it the shortest in the title's history. Hartwell made her first Raw appearance during a backstage segment with Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Dexter Lumis on the May 8 episode. On the July 3 episode of Raw, Hartwell made her in-ring debut, teaming with LeRae, where they lost to Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green.

In January 2024, Hartwell competed in the Royal Rumble match, entering the match at number six before being eliminated by Bayley. On the Elimination Chamber: Perth pre-show on February 24, Hartwell and LeRae challenged WWE Women's Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) for the titles in a losing effort. During the 2024 WWE Draft, Hartwell and LeRae were drafted to the SmackDown brand. At King and Queen of the Ring, Hartwell and LeRae lost another title match, this time against champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. On November 1, Hartwell was released from WWE. Her last match for the company was a tag team match with LeRae losing against Bayley and Naomi on that night's SmackDown.
