Ethan Page 3

On the May 28, 2024 edition of NXT, Page made his surprise WWE debut by attacking NXT Champion Trick Williams and revealing himself as the one behind the attacks of Noam Dar and Oro Mensah of Meta-Four. Page officially signed with NXT the following week and received a match against Williams for the NXT Championship at NXT Battleground on June 9 as part of his contract, but failed to win the title. On the June 18 episode of NXT, Page participated in the 25-man battle royal to earn an NXT Championship match at NXT Heatwave, but he was attacked by Mensah before the match started. Later that night, he defeated the battle royal winner Je'Von Evans after claiming that he was never eliminated from the battle royal. With Page, Evans and Shawn Spears (who had defeated Williams in a non-title match) each having a claim to a title shot, NXT General Manager Ava scheduled a fatal four-way match for the title at Heatwave. At the event on July 7, Page fell onto Evans after a Trick Shot by Williams and pinned him to win the title. On the July 16 episode of NXT, Page defeated Dante Chen to retain his title in his first defense, but was attacked by Mensah after the match. On August 6, at The Great American Bash week two, Page defeated Mensah to retain the title. At NXT No Mercy on September 1, Page successfully defended his title against Joe Hendry with Williams as special guest referee. On the October 1 episode of NXT, Page lost the title back to Williams with CM Punk as the special guest referee, ending his reign at 86 days. On the October 15 episode of NXT, Page competed in a triple threat number one contender's match for the NXT Championship against Je'von Evans and Wes Lee, where he would emerge victorious. The match would take place at NXT Halloween Havoc in a Devil's Playground match, but Page failed to win the title. On the November 26 episode of NXT, Page defeated Axiom to qualify for the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, but the match was won by Oba Femi. Two days later, he failed to defeat NXT North American Champion Tony D'Angelo for the title.
