"Dr." Bill Miller wrestled as Mr. M in the American Wrestling Association (AWA) during its early years and held the AWA Title for over seven months while feuding with Verne Gagne.
Miller was the number one challenger to Bruno Sammartino for the WWWF World Championship in the mid-1960's, managed by Bobby Davis.
In the early 1960's, he would team up with his brother Dan Miller. They held the WWWF United States Tag Team Championship, winning it from Gorilla Monsoon and Cowboy Bill Watts in Washington, DC; losing it to Johnny Valentine and Antonio Pugliese in Madison Square Garden.
On March 24, 1997, Miller passed away.
