Bad Bunny 2

Bad Bunny made his first appearance for WWE during their annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 31, 2021. At the event, he performed live, which also had an appearance by Booker T. Also at the event, Bad Bunny got involved in a segment with The Miz, which saw Bad Bunny get physically involved by performing a top rope dive onto Miz and John Morrison during the Royal Rumble match. Bad Bunny then began appearing on Monday Night Raw, and continued to be involved in segments with The Miz. He also allied with Damian Priest, who helped Bad Bunny win the WWE 24/7 Championship on the February 15 episode of Raw. Bad Bunny also made a brief backstage appearance at the Elimination Chamber on February 21. On the March 15 episode of Raw, Bad Bunny gave the 24/7 Championship back to R-Truth. Bad Bunny and Priest continued to be involved in segments with The Miz and John Morrison, with the feud reaching its climax after the latter vandalized Bad Bunny's Bugatti. This led to a challenge being issued for WrestleMania 37. The match occurred on night one of the event where Bad Bunny and Priest defeated Miz and Morrison in a tag team match.

On January 29, 2022, at the Royal Rumble, Bad Bunny would make a surprise return to WWE, competing in the men’s Royal Rumble match by entering at number twenty-seven. He would eliminate Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler and would last until the final five, when he was eliminated by the eventual winner Brock Lesnar.

On March 8, 2023, it was announced that Bad Bunny would serve as the host for WWE's upcoming premium live event, Backlash, taking place in his native Puerto Rico. On April 1, Bad Bunny joined the Spanish announce team to commentate during the match between Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio on Night One of WrestleMania 39. Bunny would intervene during the match, preventing Dominik from attacking Rey with a chain. Two nights later on Raw, Bunny - who was attending the show as a fan - was choke slammed through the announcers table by former partner Damian Priest, who was now a teammate of Dominik Mysterio in The Judgment Day. On the April 23 episode of Raw, Bunny would return and attack Priest with a kendo stick, subsequently announcing that instead of hosting Backlash, he would be wrestling Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at the event. At Backlash, Bunny would defeat Priest after help from the Latino World Order (Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro), Carlito, and Savio Vega.
